Fandango DreamerBecky and I went to see “Dreamer” the other day. The Fandango website at Fandango Dreamer describes the movie as follows:

“ Ben Crane, a great horse trainer in his day, is given an injured racehorse as a severance package when he loses his job. The horse, once a great racer, suffered a broken leg and is considered a lost cause. With few options for employment, Ben is encouraged by his young daughter Cale to nurse the horse back to health and see if she doesn’t have a shot at the Breeders’ Cup.”

The Review
Dreamer is a good, clean, rewarding movie about having faith in the midst of adversity and not taking the easy way out of difficult situations. The acting is extremely good and it’s inspired by a true story. It’s hard to beat that combination and the story is inspiring.

The movie deals with the tremendous challenges that happen in life, especially when large egos are involved and the importance of not giving up on your dreams. I don’t want to give away the movie, but it’s a quality family film. We didn’t bring the kids to this one and we decided afterwards that our seven year old would have liked it. Our other kids, who are younger than seven, would have probably been bored stiff.

Becky and I both thought that Dreamer was definitely “Worth The Trip”.

    Hi John and Becky,

My daughter and I received tickets to Dreamer. This is one of the films that is definitely a thumbs up from us. It is for all ages. Dreamer touches the heart of everyone by tapping into the full spectrum of every emotion that one would have from from sadness to fear to anger to happiness.

We agree, Dreamer was definitely “Worth the Trip!”
